For convenience, these are made of thick natural veg tanned leather, have been hand carved, tooled, painted, and have been sealed with laqueur.
 
Note:
These coasters should not be used for hot items, unless the bottoms of the items are not hot. 
Wipe dry after use, don't let water sit on them over long periods of time.
